At the Peel Heritage Complex in Brampton, children participated in various summer art programs. As shown below, a wide variety of art projects were offered:

Egyptian Relief Sculpture: The children learned about relief sculpture created by people of ancient civilizations. With this inspiration, the children created their own relief sculptures in plaster. Then they painted their sculptures.
Plasticine Relief Sculpture: The children enjoyed creating texture with plasticine as they participated in colourful art projects made by the entire group.

Rock Painting: The children developed their  understand of three-dimensional form and "sculpture in the round" as they painted rocks to look like animals or made-up creatures.
Pasta Turtles: The children created colourful patterns with dyed pasta. They made turtles!
