In June, 2004, students in grades 4, 5 and 6 worked together to create a large, colourful wall mural. each student painted one goose, together creating a large flock of geese in flight. But these were no ordinary geese! Each student used their imagination to create unique and delightful birds with stripes, spots, textures and much more.

The students started the project by considering elements of design and how they might be used to express feelings. Students chose descriptive words for their geese. Each student created a plan for the goose that they would add to the mural project.
