| In June, 2004, students in grades 4, 5 and 6 worked together to create a large, colourful wall mural. each student painted one goose, together creating a large flock of geese in flight. But these were no ordinary geese! Each student used their imagination to create unique and delightful birds with stripes, spots, textures and much more. |

| The students started the project by considering elements of design and how they might be used to express feelings. Students chose descriptive words for their geese. Each student created a plan for the goose that they would add to the mural project. |
