| In a curriculum aligned visual arts project, students in grade 5 worked together to create a colourful mural for their school. In this collaborative effort, students learned about elements of design (such as colours, lines and shapes) as they each created non-representational designs and patterns to decorate one colourful fish. |

A treasure chest, overflowing with jewels and abundant wealth, claims centre stage. Most precious of all, and written on unfurled scrolls, are the five “Life Rules” adopted by Corsair Public School: be respectful, be on time, be prepared, participate, and be responsible. At the culmination of the project, students recognized their creative successes and how they contributed to the overall success of the group project. |
